Crowning glory as…Bewley Homes helps Beaconsfield children mark King Charles III Coronation with crown decoration and drawing initiative
Children from First Place Nurseries in Wilton Park, Beaconsfield, celebrated the King’s Coronation in style thanks to a Bewley Homes’ initiative.
The housebuilder, which is about to launch its much anticipated second phase of new homes at Wilton Park, teamed up with the nursery to help mark the big day.
The housebuilder donated over 50 crowns and craft packs to the nursery for the youngsters to decorate and draw portraits of King Charles III, as well helped organise a special Coronation tea party.
Bewley Homes’ Sales and Marketing Director, Elaine Stratford, said the community focused housebuilder wanted to mark this once in a generation event with a fun and memorable event for
the children who go to nursery very close to its development. Elaine said: “It was a real joy to see the children have so much fun!
“We work closely with the communities where we are building homes and the King’s Coronation seemed the perfect opportunity to work with some of the younger children in Beaconsfield on a creative project while also celebrating an important event in our country’s history.”
Nicky Rowe, Nursery Manager at First Place Nurseries said the children enjoyed the whole
experience of creating their own crowns and drawing pictures of the King.
“Children of all ages love craft projects and this heart-warming initiative has really helped them have
fun and be involved in this historic event in their lives,” said Nicky. “Thanks to Bewley Homes for
coming up with the idea, donating the crowns and the helping organise the tea party. We’re sure the
children will be wearing their crowns with pride during the Coronation weekend.”
